A Tragic Night at the Phare
And at the same time we have new students arriving from villages for another session of our Discipleship Experience. One of them is even of the same ethnic group as our talibé guys and helped today.
But I need to post first about a tragic event last night. Hervé called me to say that a tractor-trailer with a "container" had come barreling through the traffic circle out front. It hit two SUVs and a pedestrian. Seeing the site this morning was a shock. The large pedestal billboard was twisted 90 degrees and 20 foot section of our wall was obliterated. Though last night Herve said the pedestrian had survived, this morning we heard otherwise. He was the husband of a lady who sells peanuts along the road right out front. Please pray for her and those hurt in the cars.
