Forest Hill Debriefs
After every group that comes to help out our Urban Church Planting team we have a time of debrief. The debrief is set up to help them start talking and processing some of the things they experienced while they were here. These are usually my favorite times because I learn so much from each group that comes. Their fresh perspective helps mine when it's getting old and stale. They bring new insight into situations that perhaps I've taken for granted.
Its also neat to see how God actually works in each one so differently. Some people learn things that are totally unrelated to 'missions' but it's exactly what God had for them at this time in their lives.
A brief synopsis of each testimony:
The first lady is talking about a value of the Senegalese culture of taking time with one another versus the western cultural value of time. Its very important here to make time for people, even if you are busy and actually don't have the time.
The second lady speaks of how God spoke to her about His work and His time.
The third lady speaks of the progress she see's on this visit from the last time she was here, and how it has inspired her to pray for the needs of the ministries.
Here is a brief clip of such a time.
