A New Outdoor Kitchen

Well, we've not been updating you all as we planned. My apologies.

It's not that the Phare isn't a "happening place!" Today, for instance, the 17th annual Wolof Consultation began. I've caught them here during a coffee break. But that is appropriate. For three days Wolof church leaders and those who work with them are spending time to report on what's been happening lately, to share experiences and resources and try to help each other. Pray with them and with us that God will give His wisdom about how to communicate clearly the wonderful news of Jesus. And that He will open doors into the hearts of the Wolof peoples.

The last post before this showed Aaron and the guys putting up a temporary roof on the outdoor cooking area. Sarah said: "until the Wheaton guys come."

Well, they came!

What was a simple metal roof on wooden posts to keep the sun and rain off of ladies cooking outdoors is now a real building. We're all very excited, but Herve is over the top happy!
