Little Update on the Property

So here are three clips from today. The first is a follow-up on the road work in front of the Phare. They have progressed enough that I think we're out of danger. Unless the next downpour washes out the work they did in the last few days.

Then here is a fascinating clip if you're a plumber or own a home in an area with water issues. We had a water heater leaking in the Congo Apartment. It leaked enough to mess up the electric. When Jean and Patrice took it apart, they found it full of sand and muck. They've cleaned it and put it back together. We'll see if it survived the abuse. But seeing that one so dirty after not that many years of service, Patrice suggested checking others. Here is what the Mali Apartment water heater looks like:

Finally, just a bit of beauty. The wonderful part about rains is the crisp, clear view we have of the ocean and lighthouse hillside afterward. I thought you'd like to enjoy the colors and the freshness of it.
